Board of Trustees
The Allendale, Hampton, Jasper Regional Library System is governed by the Regional Library Board of Trustees, with each county maintaining its own local Library Board composted of county residents appointed by the respective County Council and operating under its own bylaws. The County Library Boards serve primarily in an advisory capacity to their libraries within their respective counties, while their members also serve as the foundation of the Regional Board.
The Regional Library Board is composed of the Chairperson of each County Library Board, along with two additional members appointed by the chairperson of each respective County Library Board. Members of the Regional Library Board of Trustees serve three-year terms.
AHJ Regional Library Board
The AHJ Regional Library Board of Trustees meetings are held quarterly (January, April, July, and October) on the second Tuesday at 5:00PM in the Community Room of the Estill Public Library. The January meeting generally is held at 4:00PM due to the time changes, please check the agenda. The Board may alter the meeting dates, times and the place of the meeting as needed.
