Thanks to a donation of seeds from the Clemson University Learning Institute, patrons can take home vegetable and/or flower seeds to plant, care for, and watch grow.
Once your plant is done growing, you can harvest the seeds and donate them back to the library for the next patron to plant.
Community members can also donate packets of seeds to the library for re-stocking.
The Seed Library aims to provide education on how to grow food and help fill the gap of fresh food insufficiency that can be seen in our communities.
Come by the Allendale County Library and grow a garden today! Speak with a staff person at the desk for assistance and to answer any questions.
