Contest Information
Eligibility
- The contest is open to anyone living, working, or going to school in Allendale, Hampton, or Jasper County
Contest Rules
- All designs must be original and created by the participant.
- Designs should not contain copyrighted material, offensive language, inappropriate images, or AI-generated components.
- By entering the contest, participants grant the library the right to use, reproduce, and publish their designs for promotional purposes.
- The library reserves the right to make minor adjustments to the winning design to fit printing specifications.
Design Format
- Submissions must be on the template provided by the library. Digital templates are available on the website or by request. Physical template available at any AHJ branch and Literacy Lander.
- Accepted digital file formats include . PNG (Portable Network Graphics), .PSD (Photoshop) or .PDF (Portable Document File).
- Digital submissions should have a resolution of 600 DPI
- For physical designs, participants may use any medium (such as colored pencils, markers, or digital art) as long as it is flat and can be scanned.
Submission Deadline
- All entries must be submitted by June 30, 2026 at 5 PM.
- Submit digital entries on this page.
- Submit paper entries at any AHJ Regional Library branch or the Literacy Lander.
Judging
- A panel of judges composed of library staff members and members from the AHJ Regional Library Board and select members who oversee library appropriations will select the winners.
Winner
- The contest winner will be announced on September 1, 2026 on our website, social media pages, and in each library branch.
